Of annoying accidents and upset Dogs

hmm I better write something or I'm just going to keep putting it off and fall really behind on blogging. I think the weekend was fully covered elsewhere. Except we also went and saw the newly re-released "Life of Brian". Which was just as good on the big screen if not better.

I'm in Baltimore,MD all this week. I'm still not sure why I have to be here to do this project, nothing, I've done yet couldn't have been done from Home. To make matters even worse. Someone hit me last night. No one was hurt and the cars weren't even all the badly damaged, but now it's a big pain. I was driving a company rental car, so now I have to make sworn statemements, to my insurence, my company's insurence, the other person's insurence, AND the rental car company. Let me tell you that's not fun.

To top it all off, my dog is massivley upset I'm gone. Poor baby.....

She's taken to hiding under the bed all day, and can only be coaxed out when Luna is outside and with bribery (treats).
This morning she had my wallet under the bed with her and snapped at me when I tried to take it.
Then she crawled all the way to the center under the bed, so that she couldnt' be reached.
It's really quite sad, because as soon as she realizes Luna is outside, she's all happy and bouncy and lovey. She won't even eat unless Luna is outside.

poor doggie - shame on you Zero for leaving her!

I'm sure my Boss would understand.
"No I can't go to Baltimore anymore, it upsets my dog too much."

why not, explain that isn't really a dog but more like a child.... at least that's the way Jewels is to me.

Hmm there's an idea, just start referring to her as my "kid" though then people might wonder how I got a kid w/o a wife or gf.

Adoption. which would explain why you all of a sudden have a 6 yr old.

Poor Puppy! Not only is she sad buy she's girly & upset because now she looks funny, too! Poor dog! I so miss Mira! She is the biggest freak but also happens to be the coolest dog in the world!

Reading

I just finshed Codelia's Honor by Lois McMaster Bujold which is the first book of the Vorkosigan Saga.
Very good book, but the Sci-Fi bits are really secondary to the story.

Right now I'm reading The Lost Fleet Series by John Hemry/Jack Campbell It's sorta Honor Harrington but not really, though Honor Harrington even goes downhill in the later novels.
