Forgive my ignorance, but who's Neil Gaiman?

He is an Author. He is most noted for "The Sandman" comic books. If you haven't read them you should.

And when you say Author you really mean Man Who Writes Comic Books.

I love Neil Gaiman his books American Gods and Neverwhere were fantastic. And aparently I need to send him mangos...many many mangos.

I drew a picture if the sandman and Neil signed it with a silver sharpie, he even dotted the eye. Apparently that is cooler thant a gel pen.
