Chemo Treatment 2

I had my second Chemo treatment yesterday. No big problems, they shot me full of anti-rejection drugs so I slept through most of it. There were n ocomplications like last time but it did take about 7 and half hours to get it done. Most of that was pent waiting. They didn't actully start the chemo infusion till sometime around 12:30 so the actual treamt only took about 4 hours. Having the Medi-port sped it up somewhat. I was really tired and sick all last night but I feel much better today. No need yet for even any anti-naseua drugs. I do have the horrible chemo-hiccups that I get after every treatment. Phlome and Tigger hung out read books while I was being infused and then we had dinner at Ruby Tuesday's, so I could get fresh veggies.

I also managed to acquire the Return King: Extended Edition last night at Wal-Mart. You'd think I was buying drugs or something:

Me: Do you have the New Return of the King DVD
Guy in the Electronics Dept: Yeah...(looks around) talk to tht guy back there.

Me: Do you have the new Return of the King DVD?
Guy at Counter: Yeah. The one that comes out tomorrow.
Me: Yes
Guy: The Special Edition?
ME Yes
Guy: (Reaches into a cart covered in other DVDs and pulls one out.)
Here ya go.
ME: Can I have 2 more, thier Christmas gifts?
Guy: (Look like he might not give them to me then pulls out 2 more.)

Heh, glad you're feeling better.

Since I doubt Khuul reads this (and he'll just open it as soon as it arrives anyway), I got him the special boxed set for Christmas; preorder from Amazon.

Reading

I just finshed Codelia's Honor by Lois McMaster Bujold which is the first book of the Vorkosigan Saga.
Very good book, but the Sci-Fi bits are really secondary to the story.

Right now I'm reading The Lost Fleet Series by John Hemry/Jack Campbell It's sorta Honor Harrington but not really, though Honor Harrington even goes downhill in the later novels.
