I'm here in New Jersey all this week. I finally get to take my class that I've had to reschedule twice because of the ole medical problems. They are pretty understanding about rescheduling your classes if you tell them you the reason you missed it was that you have cancer.
Ninsi and Phlome are getting ready to move out of Shady Manor. This will leave me with a lot more room. Room that probably should have some furniture in it. Right now I have one really old couch and a southwest style coffee table/chest which is way to big for my living room. This leads me to wonder "What kind of Dinette Set defines me as a person?"
On my way to class this morning, I noticed this place. It's literally 1 mile from where I'm taking my class. I'll have to stop by and see if I really want to give in to my nesting instinct. Of course, I could also just wait till this summer, and visit the local one.
How long have you been waiting to use that line?
hehe....
also, what's the word on NIN tickets? i hadn't heard from you in awhile.
Well.....The tickets went on sale on March 4th for the Austin and Houston shows. I never heard from anyone saying they wanted one or not so I just bought tickets for myself. You can get them at Front Gate Tickets. If they're sold out let me know, I might know someone with an extra ticket.
I went to the Ikea store at lunch today. I wasn't all that impresseed. Except for the shelving. They had some really nice shelving for $50, that I may consider buying. All the sofas were too small.
Bookshelves - yes. Or with your critters gone, why don't you build some built-ins in the game room or one of the smaller bedrooms? And have you played with Ikea Anna on their web site yet? That's about 5 minutes of tremendous fun right there. I totally responded on NIN, by the way.
ah yes you did,but the response wasn't "Get me a ticket."
Sorry but Ikea is cheesy...
heeey...i wrote back and requested two tickets....
perhaps i wasn't clear enough...
damn...
You have to write "ZERO GET ME TICKETS DAMMIT". Didn't he specify that in the email?
Yeah you're right I should probably just shop at Storehouse that way I can pay twice what the furniture is worth but at least I can say it's from Storehouse.
Whatever... Good to see you're over that.
You make a catty comment on my blog you get one in return. *poink* Besides how can you think Ikea is cheesy? It's like the exact same store as the container store, they even sell Skandia.
Your gonna get cancer again if you stay in Jersey to long! Get out of there! And stay away from the women, Jersey women are dangerous.
As for furnishings, I'm quite fond of La-Z-Boy's couches and chairs.
I'm with Bunny on Building you some shelving in the game room. You can get pre-cut particle board shelving in white, possibly other colors that are easy to put together (kinda like an o'sullivan shelf) at Loews. At least they used to have that. They should have a pamphlet with some creative ideas as well.
Futon's would be great for one or two of the bedrooms as they turn into beds for people that need to crash. You can always turn one into a straight-up office like I did mine. Well it's actually an office w/ a Futon in case someone needs to crash :)
Before I moved in, my room was Zero's office. I'm sure he'll convert it back, once we're all moved out.
Zero's gonna have so much room once we're gone. Geez - he's got tons more cabinet space in the kitchen already, now that we've go most of our stuff out of there.
