New Domain

With Ninsi and Phlomes recent troubles with our web hosting service and since school is out for the next few weeks and I have time to mess with it, I decided to change my webhosting service as well. I chose fuitadnet.com, which Demi recomended. In the process I also registed a new domain name, ryanmoore.org It'll just be an alias for channel-zero.net Channel zero is a much cooler name, but it's hard to give out to people over the phone. (Channel-DASH-ZERO-DOT-NET, no spell out zero, did you remember the dash?,etc....) So now I can be ryan.moore@ryanmoore.org. The new domain won't be up for a day or two and then It'll we a week or so before I get all of channel-zero's files moved over. It should appear seamless you guys though. The real question? Use my old MT templates or make new ones? Making MT templates is a pain....

Start fresh and new! :)

That's what I would do, but my general motto is "If it ain't broke, fix it til it is." :)

Sounds like you'd make a good programmer, Jess.

Why change? This template is nice and clean. The email address and domain name are funny. You're like Mary Hartman Mary Hartman.

What? That made no sense. I'm not getting rid of www.channel-zero.net, www.ryanmoore.org will bring up the same page. I do like the Color I have now but not the layout so much, and there's a lot of crap that's really out of date now too, like the links page and the forums (which has somehow caused a security violation.) Just another good reason to move to a different hosting service.

Yes, because ryanmoore@ryanmoore.org doesn't parallel Mary Hartman Mary Hartman at all. You're just not well acquainted with dirty 70s soap operas.

"Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" (1976)
Set in fictional Fernwood, Ohio, this deliriously demented serial focused on the beleaguered heroine Mary Hartman, an average American housewife. In the first year, Mary suffered the travails of mass murder, adultery, venereal disease, homosexuality, religious cults, and UFO sightings, before she finally succumbed to a nervous breakdown on a syndicated talk show.

*I* think I would have made a good programmer too. But they told me I had to take a lot of math, and I was like fuck you guys, I'm gonna major in ceramics.

hahaha.

Reading

I just finshed Codelia's Honor by Lois McMaster Bujold which is the first book of the Vorkosigan Saga.
Very good book, but the Sci-Fi bits are really secondary to the story.

Right now I'm reading The Lost Fleet Series by John Hemry/Jack Campbell It's sorta Honor Harrington but not really, though Honor Harrington even goes downhill in the later novels.
