Busy

Yep been really busy lately. One of our clients finally decided to buy the network I designed for them back in February and they want it installed, by Dec 8th. That means I spent all last week working overtime to get the switches, routers, and firewalls configured so they could be shipped out to the customer on Friday. Then I leave tomorrow for chilly St. Paul,MN to begin installing the equipment. I'll probably end up being there for the next two weeks.

Right now I'm here in Halo's awesome new house in Owasso,OK. I came into OK this weekend so we could start cleaning out our Dad's house. We worked all day yesterday and nearly filled one of those large dumpsters with stuff. We probably need at least one more day to get everything out so it can be cleaned and then we can put it on the market.

Two weeks ago I took a course at work called "Helping Clients Suceed," which sounds like one of those seminars you take at a Holiday Inn in the evenings. It was really a good course though, it was about how to be more effective when dealing with customers and clients. A lot of it was geared toward a sales oriented person but the parts of the course on how to structure a meeting and what to talk about when you meet with a customer were really intresting.

Some point back at the Dawn of Time, (a few weeks ago) I had said I would post some honeymoon pictures. Well there are over 900 of them, so they needed to be cut down a little. Elanna made a set of pictures that she considers, "the best ones" so hopefully I can get those posted here in the next few days.

I also really need to update the site. I'm not reading the Talmuli anymore or playing World of Warcraft and that picture of me is over two years old.
