Robotic Gift Shop

I've been here in St. Paul for the past two weeks. Hopefully, I won't have to be back till Mid-December. The network is finished now, the customer just has to get all thier applications working over it. Which is, of course, the most difficult part. I'm staying at a Holiday in right next to the Excel Center in St. Paul. Space must be at a premium here, when I went to the exercise room the other day, I found this:

It's a robotic Gift shop. You use the touch screen menu to select what you want, (candy, drinks, asprin, little teddy bears) insert your credit card and it spits it right out. I've yet to see anyone actually use it.

Next week it's back to OK to finish up working in Dad's house and to see our families for Tahnksgiving.

Reading

I just finshed Codelia's Honor by Lois McMaster Bujold which is the first book of the Vorkosigan Saga.
Very good book, but the Sci-Fi bits are really secondary to the story.

Right now I'm reading The Lost Fleet Series by John Hemry/Jack Campbell It's sorta Honor Harrington but not really, though Honor Harrington even goes downhill in the later novels.
