Okay so I'm not going to blog about the fact that I haven't blogged in over a week. (Except I think I just did, that's like a thing right, mentioning something by not mentioning it?)

No more updates our journey down the path of parenthood. Our next appointment with the fertility doc is sometime later this month. They did tell my wife that she needs to get a Rubella vaccination, which is apparently not that easy to do if you are an adult. Our primary care physician doesn't give them. She said "Oh just go down to the Health Department." To quote my wife, "Wouldn't that be like getting a shot at the DMV?" She is looking into other options.

We spent this last weekend in Oklahoma visiting family. It was our oldest Nephew's third birthday. He is a a big fan of trains right now and received no less than 3 train sets for his Birthday. One of which was from us.

Okay that's all the normal stuff from here on out its gets geeky.

My brother and I got in a game of 40k on Friday. We used the new 5th edition rules. I also used a completly new version of my ork army. I was getting pretty bored with my old army. It was pretty much just as many orks as I could pack in trukks supported by copters and a HQ squad. It wins a lot but I wanted something different, so I made an ork shooty army. NOTE:orks are not shooty. Halo's World Eaters army pounded them pretty good. The game took about 4 hours because we had to look up almost everything in the new rules. And we still got a lot of things wrong.

I was going to the fertility clinic for a while... they were able to give me a rubella shot right there. Maybe you can ask again and they will give you one from there.

Good luck... I'm rooting for you!

Reading

I just finshed Codelia's Honor by Lois McMaster Bujold which is the first book of the Vorkosigan Saga.
Very good book, but the Sci-Fi bits are really secondary to the story.

Right now I'm reading The Lost Fleet Series by John Hemry/Jack Campbell It's sorta Honor Harrington but not really, though Honor Harrington even goes downhill in the later novels.
