**GM Turn 31 (Edinbourough) Okay so far Phlome is going to take a bath and Dom and Sithec are going to explore. He's some things I want to now before moving forward. What is Santiago doing? What are you telling the grogs to do in the meantime? Do you want to ask your guide or the innkepper to set up appoints for artisans in the morning? Where do Dom/Sithec want to go? **Santiago Santiago says " Dom is taking some grogs with him, phlome is going to take one with him. We'll ask our guide to set up some apointments with the artisans. Santiago is going to take some grogs with him and go look for some more grogs to hire. (Santiago thinks he heard of a great scottish warrior named Gabriel DuLac and is hoping he can find him) :) **Dom/Sithec Dom and Sithec and one or two grogs, after they finish eating, wish to explore the market section a bit (just to see what might be for sale) and possibly look for a library (mostly just for future reference, but if there's time, a little research couldn't hurt). Sithec will attempt to conceal his sword on his person under his cloak (hey, I've seen Duncun McCleod do it on TV all the time!), but if that's just ridiculous (it _is_ a greatsword, after all) he'll just leave it in his room, hidden as well as possible. **Phlome After his bath, Phlome will take whatever grogs are left, one or two, and proceed into the city himself. Though first he will have to get some money from Santiago... While he's bathing, Phlome's grogs can do whatever they want, provided they stay in the inn, they can drink, sleep, prepare the rooms, talk to the innkeep or whatever. After his bath, Phlome will go to like a glassblower, or smithy. (i.e. any place where he might, in the future, be able to buy or commission lab equipment) Before going to his bath, Phlome holds out his hand to Santiago and requests a few coins... **GM Turn 31 (A camp in the swamp) As dinner is being prepared Feargus (The tremere) asks you to sit with him by the fire. "Hmm you want to know about our covenant eh? Well its more of a clan than a covenant. All the members of Clan MacGruagach as members of the covenat, whether they be warriors, magi, or covenfolk. I am not an orignal member of the covenant so I can only tell you the history that I know. When the Damhan-allaidh came to scotland in 814 the clan already existed in a form that we would call a covenant. All the clan eldars were Gruagach magi. When Calum Mac Lachlan came to be the eldest of the clan he saw the deterioration of his peoples way of life hapening before his eyes. Less and less Gruagach were beng trained each year. He petitioned for his clan to be admitted as a coventant under the auspoces of House Ex Miscellania in 987. Many Gruagach have travelled to other covenants since that time and many mages, like myself have come here to learn of the gruagach. We currently have seven mages in our covenat mostly ex miscellany gruagaches but I am of house tremere and Domnhull is of House Bonisaus. I'm sure he would love to have a look around your library if it is as old as your covenant." "Please tell me more of your covenant." ** Solomon Solomon says" We are just newly arrived at the covanant. There is me. I am o f house Tytalus. Brianna of house Meriintia. Domongart of House Bojinar, Phlome of Ex Millencia (I think) and Heliious of Qeuesitor. There are three other eldar mages in the covanant , but they pretty much keep to themselves. For all of we know of the Covanent it was in Autum about 50 years ago and then fell into winter. So we are pretty much here to restore it and start a new covanent. (If any one else wants to add anything be my guest). **Milnan On hearing Soloman mention Phlome's house, Milnan speaks up briefly, "Yeah, Phlome is Ex Miscellanea." Milnan then lapses back into silence listening to the mages speak. **GM Turn 32 (Edinborough) Okay Since you're all splitting up i'm just going to combine it all in one message so you can keep track of each other. The guide says "I'll run and tell as many artisans and builders as I can to meet here in the morning. Milord, If you are looking for mercenaries you should check out the Warriors Court. Warriors needing work and commanders looking for recruits gather there. Though with the Black Company in town the Palace Barraks might be just as good a place to look." Sithec/Dom and one grog (one is all u should need with sithec) get directions from the guide to the market and head in that direction keeping an eye out for a library. Phlome has a bath and the grogs amuse thmselves by playing cards with the innkeeper and his sons. Phlome gets the address of the two glassblowers in town. **Santiago I will take 2 grogs with me and head for the warriors court. **Phlome With his hair still wet from the bath, Phlome, and whatever grogs are left (I thought we brought only 4, which leaves me with 1, right?) head towards the nearest glassblower. **GM Turn 32 (Swamp) "Well", says Feargus "You cetainly have an interesting group of mages. Having another Queasitor in Scotland is going to be interesting. The covenant of Horsingas has been raiding and destroying norman camps and patrols in clear violation of the code but since Whitburth is the only quesitor and is a member of Horsingas, nothing has been done yet. Tell Hellios he'll be in for a showdown if he comes to the Tribunal whether he wants to be involved or not. Caitlin of Crun Clach will almost certainly force a confrontation as she cannot stand whitburth. By the way Lady Brianna Do you know Lady Caitin Uaine, she is also of Your house?" Nectah interjects at this point "Hey you with the great sword," he says pointy a bony gnarled finger at milnan, 'what tradition does this Phlome hail from? If he Ex Misc. he;s not hermeitc I assume." **Milnan Milnan looks at Nectah and smirks a little bit. "Hmm, well, Phlome tried to explain it all to me one day, but Im not sure I quite got it all, but ill try. "I know that Phlome was trained more or less as a Hermetic mage. Not sure about his master though. Some crazy git named Trenabaois is what his name was. I know that they didn't rightly get along to well either. Phlome often would complain to me that his master either wouldn't, or couldn't, teach him what he wanted to know. So, anyway, near as i can tell, Phlome is one of the few hermetic Ex Misc mages around. Dont know to much about the tradition part of it. Not sure if its tradition or what, but that Quaesitori back at the keep, Hellious, I often saw him staring funny at Phlome like he was looking for something. He and Phlome didn't seem to get along to well either. ** GM Turn 33 Town Santiago The warriors court has less activity than you exspected but your guide may have been right about them all being at the Palace trying to hire on with the Black Company. Standard procedure seems to be that you tack a sign up to the big tree in the middle of the sqaure informing the mercs where you can be found. There are 3 warrior types checking out the notices on the tree. Phlome You and the grog wander aroung the mazelike crafts disctrict till you finally come across one of the two glassblowers shops. He doesn't appear to have much in the way of lab equpment but there's probably not much call for it. You walk in and the shopkeeper asks how he might help you. **Santiago Santiago will walk over to the men and say " Are any of you gentlmen intrested in being hired onto a steady job wiht some excitement, steady pay and a place to eat and sleep that you don't have to pay for." **Phlmoe As Phlome enters the shop, he examines several of the availible waresthen proceeds on to speak to the shopkeeper. "Good day to you, sir. I will be quick, as im sure you are busy. I am in need of equipment for a laboratory. And though I see nothing here that would currently be suitable, I want to know how long and how much would you require to build an apparatus such as this..." Phlome then goes into a lengthy description of a large glass boiler he used in his master's lab. A large globe about two feet in diameter, with several glass tubes connected to it at various places, and at the top, a final, spiraling tube about two feet in length. "...And of course, it must be resistant to high temperatuers, and I will need a stand to place it on. If you can do this, I have several associates who, in addition to myself, may be needing more equipment over the next few months. What say you, good sir?" **GM Turn 33 Swamp Feargus looks at Brianna like she was going to say something then turns to Solomon and says "Well, I guess we ought to discuss capturing the unicorn then we can worry about we gets the vis. We lost two grogs trying to capture it last year. Its quite a viscious beast." **Solomon Solomon asks "Have you every actually caught the unicorn?" **GM Turn 33 Cont Swamp Feargus gives you a strange look. "Well of course we have. The beast is just say we say spirited." Nectah interjects, "Spirited! HAH! Its an evil bitch ifn i ever seen one. Speared poor Thon right through it did and then in et im." Feargus clears his throat. "Well uhm yes anyway magic is no good the beast has a very strong magical protecttion. Any spell the would penetrate it would most certainly kill it and that would be bad for all concerned." "HEH HEE! The curse o' the Celts to the man who slays the unicorn!" Shouts Nectah **Milnan Milnan looks over toward Donald before speaking, "Well, Im sure we can catch it this time without loss of life. What do you know of it's habits? We need to go ahead and work out a strategy for capturing it. What have you tried before that didn't work? I'd hate to do something we know is ineffective..." **Solomon Solomon asks what is the curse of the celts? **GM Turn 34 Swamp Feargus turns to Milnan and says: "Well magic is one thing that we have tried and failed the beast is very resistant, to both Hermetic and Grugachan magic. You really have to outsmart the beast. It loves to be challenged. It thinks this is all a game. If we win we get the horn if we lose, well some gets "et" and Nectah says." Nectah turns to Solomon. "The Unicorn is a demon in Celtic legends and can only truly be killed by a Celtic born hero. If it is killed by someone who is unworthy lots of bad things will happen. The least of which is that the unicorn will stalk you for the rest of your life." He turns to Brianna "Ye don't happen to be a virgin do you ya? Thats what the the unicorns like to eat best." **Brianna Brianna smiles mysteriously, tilts her head to the side and says, "I am not as young as I look." Then looks to Arthur with a raised eyebrow. **Milnan Milnan looks at Brianna for a moment after Nectah addresses her, then says, "Well, I know horses are a lot easier to control when they're in water, and i can't imagine the unicorn being much different. Perhaps we can herd the beast into a shallow lake or pond, and best it there." **Solomon Solomon will turn to the other mages and say I need to get a little rest before we head after the unicorn if you don't mind. He then goes and finds a suitable spot to sleep and does so. **Arthur (speaking to the unicorn) I would like to promise the unicorn a good chase and a favor of its choice that is within my powers, for the promise of its horn. ** Gm Turn 34 Town Dom/Sithec Dom, Sithec and the remaining grog wander around toward the market place. Its actully hard to tell when you are in the ACTUAL market because there are stalls seling evrythng from food to rat-hide boots set up everywhere. When you get to the actual market though is where the true fun begins. The are large tens selling anything you can imagine. Including more than a few that appear to be selling Fine Armour and Weapons. Phlome The Glasblower looks you up and down and then says... "I knew what yer be wantin magi. How many sets do ye want? I also pack em for travel cause I don't deliver to where ever far off hole ye live in. I only have two made right now so ifn ye wants more than that it'll take longer. Oh and theres no negoationating on the price cause no one els ein town 'll make the kind of things you need. Here take a look at this one." He pulls out a sizeable wooden crate from the back of the store and opens its. It is filled with straw but that is simply to keep the glass safe. It is indeed a fine set of lab equipment. (In game terms a set this good would be worth +1 to lab totals) Santiago The men look around and one of them says, "Ye I eard that'n befur. Whats the job and where's it at?" **Phlome Phlome examines the equipment carefully, and finally stands. "I commend your work. This is indeed a fine piece of craftsmanship. I'm pleased to see that you've done work for magi before. Give me the price for this, and the other one. We will be in town for a few days more, so perhaps my associate and i can come back for these before we leave. Ah, and if you have any other lab pieces made already, I'd like to get a price for them as well." **Santiago Santiago says" Well I'm not going to lie to you, you will be in the service of wizards protecting them and being there soldiers in return you will recieve food, shelter, andventure and glory ( I would like to use charm or bargain whichever applys). Now I know you may not be too intrestead in glory but I hear it makes the women want to come around a little more. One other thing that will be provided is training by some of the greater swordsmen in the land free of charge, mostly because we want to keep you on your toes and not have any slacking. So how bout it? **GM Tun 34 cont Phlome The shope keep gives you a price, and says to come back tommorrow and he'll have three sets packed for shipping you can pay him then. He asks "Will you been in towm regualarly? If so I can have a few sets ready for the next time you come to Edinbourough. Santiago The first merc " Mages Eh? Well that sounds a whole lot better than freezin my arse off in some campaign for a noble. Where's this place at?" The second one says "Aye I'm in. Where do I meet ya?" The third says "Mages hmm thats not for me...." He walks off toward the palace. **Santiago Santiago turns to the two men " The place is an old castle we are rebuilding called Negrath" Santiago then hands each of the men that said they would go a gold peice and says We aar staying at (Insert name of Inn here), we are leaving tommorow (I think) so meet us there and if know of any other men need a job send them there. Santiago will then write a sign on some parchment telling anybody that is intrested in the job to come to the Inn. **Phlome "Regularly? Hmm, not sure about that, but we will be back. Ill discuss it this evening, and when I come back tomorrw, we can perhaps arrange something then. Good day." After leaving the shop, if it's not to late, Phlome will go to the other glassblower shop, just to make sure that the first shopkeep wasn't lying about being the only one in town who made the equipment. If it is close to evening, he'll just go back to the inn, and sip wine til the others arrive. **Dom/Sithec Dom looks around, a bit bewildered by all the activity in the market. He notes the weapons sellers, realizing that their new grogs might need to be outfitted before they leave town, and looks around for a food merchant, in hopes of setting up regular food deliveries to the keep. Sithec watches alertly for any signs of pickpockets or other dangers. **GM Turn 35 Town Santiago The men light up at the sight of gold. "We will be there first thing in the morning sir! And I'll be sure and tell all the men I know that you pay well!" Phlome They glassblower bids you good day. You manage to find the other glassblower but you can tell by looking that he makes pretty things for rich nobles and doesn't make any kind of functional glassware. You don't even bother. You head back toward the in to meet up with your companions. Dom/Sithec You ask around a bit about food merchants and manage to find one that schedules caravns and shippings to the highlands. "Well my boy what can I do for you and your large friend?" **Santiago Santiago heads over to where the black company is recruiting. **Phlome Phlome goes back to the inn, drinks wine, and tries to engage a serving wench in conversation while he waits for the others to return. **Dom/Sithec Dom says: "I would like to set up regular deliveries of meats, bread, cheeses, fruits and vegetables, beer and wine once a month to our keep in . The food should be enough to sustain 30-40 men, a number which will likely increase in the future, and, if the quality/quantity of food is acceptable, I can guarantee that you will have our business for at least a year, with the possibility of two or more. I can pay you a retainer plus the payment for the first delivery as early as tomorrow, with subsequent payments and quantities worked out upon delivery." Sithec stands there and tries to look important. /* I guessed at the 30-40 men part, if I'm way off then just please Mr. GM just substitute the appropriate number. */ **Gm Turn 35 Edinborough Solomon You and the grogs walk to where the black company is recruiting. There is a long line that appears to be made up of various warrior types from Seasoned Soldiers to guys who look like they jump out of alleys and hit people over the head with club. The Company appears to be signing up almost everyone almost everyone and then testing them to see how expirenced they are. A large group is gathered in a circle watching the black company "test" the new recruits. You don't see any of the officers from this morning. Phlome You return to the Inn. No one else has arrvied yet. Your guide is there waiting for you however and says he has gotten 4 stone masons to agree to come meet with you. The serving wench seems uninterested. Dom The merchant gets a suprised look, obviously not expecting such a lucrative offer to simply stroll up in the market. "Well, That sounds like something we can do. Since it is so far away I won't want to wander around looking for this place. If you can provide a guide for the first shipment then I think we can work out a deal. Also, that is through dangerous territory so I'll need so extra money to hire some guards. Unless, Of course, you want to provide me with some." (He looks at Sithec when he says that.) " I can meet you later to discuss particlars but I will need half of the price of the first deliverly to start. The rest payable on delivery of course. You can pay for half of the next shipment then or we can set up an account for you with the merchnats guild and they will make sure all payments are made. " **Santiago Santiago and the grogs will step over and watch the tests. **Phlome Phlome smirks at the serving wench for a moment and orders another flagon of wine before turning to the guide. "Good work, lad. Are the masons going to come here in the morning, or are they perhaps still around where i could speak to them now?" **Dom "I cannot formally commit our funds without the approval of the rest of my companions, ///*** READ: I HAVE ZERO BARGAINING SKILLS ***/// but your deal sounds honest, and if you will meet us in the dining hall of the Drunken Unicorn (I believe that is the name of our Inn) at two hours past dawn tomorrow, we will finalize a deal that will be to everyone's benefit." Sithec looks bored, and looks hungrily at a loaf of bread on the merchant's table. ///*** Once the merchant agrees to meet us, if there is any time left in the day, Dom begins searching for a library. If there is no time, he returns to the Drunken Unicorn. (I just like saying that.) ***/// **GM Turn 35 swamp Feargus turns to Solomon and says "Of course my friend that was quite a battle. Would you like dinner first?" (He inclines his head toward the roating beef.) "If not please take that tent over there." Fergus then turns to Milnan "That's a very good idea. The beast is very smart but I'm sure if we could get it into the water we could capture maybe with ropes or a net. The problem is getting it into water. " Nectah laughs at Brianna's response. "Yes, well I guess you are then aren't you." He winks. " I seem to recall hearing the wind discussing your birth with the trees one day. I like to keep my ear to ground." He grins out his own pun. **Milnan Milnan walks over and takes a large chunk of beef. "We've had a long day. Perhaps we should all follow Solomon's lead and sleep for now. Tomorrow I'd like to survey the local terrain, and maybe we can come up with some ideas on how to corral the beast. By the way, Feargus, are there any creatures that the unicorn runs from, or that it might fear?" Milnan then sits down and looks out into the swamp and eats. **GM Turn 36 Town Santiago You watch the the black company spar with the recruits. It looks like they are determining if the person needs full basic training or is already a warrior and just needs to be schooled in black company procedures. Any warrior who claims to be an archer or cavlary is being sent to around behind the stables. The sparring is actually very interesting. The black comapny has a normal looking soldier with just a spear testing the applicants. Most of them aren't lasting past a few seconds. The trainer is explaining that the spear is the weapon of choice for all footman. Phlome The boy says that he went to the stonemasons guild to get thier names and went and spoke to them at thier homes and jobsites. They are probably not available right now. He says that they will show up tommorrow morning. Dom The merchant agrees to come by the inn tommorrow morning. You ask him where a library might be and he says that the each guild has a limited library and that there is one in the catherdral but other than that he's not too sure. "Ye could ask one of them damn sages that wander around the marketplace spouting useless advice. They must get that crap somewhere." **Phlome Phlome thanks the boy for the information and orders another flagon of wine. He then sits at a table and watches the other patrons and waits for the rest of the party to arrive. **Santiago Santiago will ask someone how much the Black Company are paying? **GM Turn 36 Swamp Solomon retires to sleep. Feargus turns to Milnan to answer his question. "Ah I still you are still not thinking of the unicorn correctly. What do you fear? Do you fear fire? Only if its close enough to burn you. Do you fear men? Only the ones that could do you harm. Do you fear a dragon? Of Course. That is what the unicorn fears also. I suggest we all turn in for the nite." **Milnan Milnan nods to Feargus. "I think I am beginning to see." Milnan then walks over to the grogs and arranges a watch to be set up for the night. There are probably enought grogs to have two on watch all night. Milnan will take a first watch himself. **GM Turn 37 Town Phlome enjoys his wine at the inn. One of the mercs watching the baclk company recruiting turns to Santiago and says " It depends on your skill really. Horsemen and skilled archers are paid more than footmen. I think they stark out at anout a silver a week." **Santiago Santiago says " and why are they recriting all of these men?" **Gm (as merc) The man says "Well from what I've been able to find out they are working for the king. The "official" word is to put down the roving bands of bandits , but the real word id that he is using them as a threat tp keep the scottish nobles in line, and the Normans and Saxons from getting any ideas about scotland. My name is Rodderick Von Hapsburg. Whats yours spainard?" (He is obviously german btw) **Santiago Santiago replies " I am Santiago De Castrengro, I am a noble from Spain and have recently purchsed a castle with some freinds of mine and am looking for soldiers to stock it. The pay is good and you get a place to sleep and food and probably a little action. You wouldn't happen to no anybody intrested would you?" **GM TURN 38 BOTH GROUPS Okay here's a recap.... Phlome is waiting at the Inn in Edinbourough. Santiago is recruiting soldiers. (Right under the Black companys nose I might add)(They accept and agree to meet you at your inn in 3 days, chalk up 2 exp. grogs also don't forget the two you hied at the warriors court they are standard grogs) Dom and Sithec have just made a deal with a merchant to supply food to the covenant and are now looking for the library.(Which you find but it is closed as it is almost evening) **MAGI IN EDNBUROUGH dont't forget you have a meeting with one of the black company this evening. Milnan is on watch at the camp with the grogs from the MacGruagach covenant. Solomon is recovering (ie sleeping) from the batttle with the wyrm. I'm not sure what Brianna and Arthur are doing but they are in the camp with Solomon and Milnan. Hellious and Grond are at the covenant awaiting the return of thier companions. --Town Group **Santiago After the brief interlude Santiago wakes from stasis. He then walks around to the back were the archers are training, to see if he can rustle up some more troops. **Phlome Phlome orders another flagon of wine and waits for the others to return to the inn. If they are not back in time, he will proceed to meet with the Black Company Magi himself. **Dom/Sithec Dom sighs regretfully while regarding the "Closed" sign on the library. He then turns around and heads back to the Inn. Sithec follows along, munching on an apple he picked up at the market. --Unicorn Hunters **Solomon Makes rasping noises as he sleeps. **Milnan Milnan stays on watch for a while, then wakes a grog to take his place and goes to sleep. **Briana/Arthur Arthur is out looking around the area. Briana looks deep in thought. Arthur would like to play his lute. Briana would cast Notes of a Delightful Sound to make it sound even better. **GM Turn 39 Town Group Dom and Sithec stroll back into the Inn and a greetd by the sight of a slightly tipsy Phlome who by this has had quite a few cups of wine. Santiago strolls over to the archery area but the Black Company has just finished up for recruiting for the day. There are, however, soe mercs still standing around. **Santiago Santiago stroll over and says " any of you all working for the Black company?" **Phlome Phlome watches as Dom and Sithec come back into the inn, "Ah, mine fine feathered friends finally return!" (hic) "I hope your day was a productive as mine. "It is almost time for us to go meet Zephram and his brother Tremere. I dont know that we can longer wait much for Santiago. I'll be ready as soon as I cup this finish..." Phlome looks into his cup, "Hmm, looks like I'm ready..." **Dom/Sithec Sithec signs something to Dom, who turns to the proprieter and says "My friend and I would like something to eat, preferably beef -- preferably rare. Also, some water for me and a tankard of ale for my friend." Dom sits down at an unoccupied table, absently fiddling with his necklace. "I think we should wait as long as we can for Santiago. We still have a bit of time before we have to leave." Sithec smiles happily at the prospect of a meal, and sits at the table opposite Domongart. He pulls out a small knife and begins whittling at a small piece of wood. **GM TURN 39 Follow-up Town Group Santiago The men look at you and then say that they were here to sign up for the black company but the ranks were filled when they arrived. Dom/Sithec/Phlome The innkeeper brings out food and drink for everyone. He asks if you're business in town is going well. **Phlome Phlome orders another flagon of wine. "I dont know that we can wait much longer. But we'll try. Did you find out anything productive in your travels in the city? Ive found an artisan who will have some lab equipment ready for us to pick up in the morning. His work is very good quality." **Santiago Santiago looks at the men and says " I have a jobe for you if your willing. THe pay is good , you'll get free room and board and even a little glory to impress the ladies with if your intrested?" (How many are there?) **GM (to Santiago) One of the me says "I'm gonna come back tommorrow and try for the black company again. One of the others asks what the job is and where its it. The other two (don't remember if there were 3 or 4 but there are 4 now) just "All right where do we sign up?" **Santiag THe Job is working for some wizards that are rebuilding a castle. I am here to recruit soldiers. After tis is done i return to the inn. **GM Turn 39 Unicorn Hunters Some of the grogs and the Magi gather round to her Arthur play. Its not often that one gets to hear actual fairie music. The night passes peacefully and everyone awakes the next morning with the idea in mint that today is the today to capture the unicorn. **Solomon Solomon wakes and starts trying to remeber what he had heard about the unicorns earlier becasue it has been so long. **Milnan After waking the next morning, Milnan eats a quick breakfast. "I think that we should spend the day scouting the land around here. This swamp is filled with dangers beyond unicorns and stoor worms. I propose breaking into groups of two, and learning the terrain. Specifically, I want to know if there's any small ponds nearby that perhaps we could chase the unicorn into later. If no one objects, or has a better idea, I say we divide up now." **GM Turn 40 Town Group The other mercenary who was reluctant to join agrees to meet you at the inn in the morning. (Thats three more that you recruited) Santiago and the grogs make there way back to the Inn to find Dom and Sithec eating dinner and Phlome on his way to a good buzz. (Maybe you should have a mini meeting and recap for the others what you acomplished in town today.) **Santiago I hired us 4 swordsman (2 exp, 2 avg), and I also got us three archers. And i did it under the black companies nose so they may get a little mad. **Dom Dom says: "A gentleman from the market will be by in the morning. I discussed a deal with him involving his transporting food to our keep on a monthly basis. I did not set the particulars, as I am not much for bargaining, but he is interested in helping us, and will arrive tomorrow to discuss terms of the contract." Sithec nods, belches, and puts his feet up on the table. **Phlome "By tomorrow morning, the glasssmith will have some apparatus for three labs packed and ready for shipment. "Perhaps I can strike a resonable bargain with the food merchants when they arrive in tne morning. **GM End of Turn 40 Okay so it looks like you have new grog recruits and a food merchant coming by in the morning as well as three cadidates for stonemasons. Someone will need to arrange to pick up the glassware from the glasblower and arrange for tranportaion. (All you have is horses you will need a cart.) Anything else or are you ready to set off to meet with the Black Company? **Phlome Phlome is ready to go meet the mages. We can probably have the guide find us a decent cart, and send him and a grog tomorrow to fetch the glassware. **GM Turn 40 Swamp Group Feargus says "That is a right good idea Milnan, though I would prefer groups of 3-4 since if a group was to encounter the unicorn they might be in real trouble if it was only two." "I will take three grogs and begin scouting west, Your group can split up and scout east and north." (You're on the south end of the unicorns "home" so there is no need to scout south.) "Nectah can stay here with some grogs and tend to the wounded." At this Nectah says " Damn right I'm staying here. I'n not traipsing around this damn swamp anymore than I have too." Feargus turns to his grog sergeant. "Sergeant make sure that you send enough grogs with each of thier groups so that they have at least four people." The grog sergeant nods and looks like he might have trouble determining how many four is. Feargus turns and begins to slect the grogs that will go with him. **Solomon How many grogs do we have with us? DId we have four or five? Oh well Solomon asks Milnan to pick out two good grogs and we will go North. Brianna you and ( icant remeber the elfs name) take the rest of the grogs and go east if that is ok. Were unicorns attracted to vigins or is that just what people sacrificed to them? OK me and milnan and my sheild grog will go east leaving the other grog to go with Brianna. I f that is ok. **Milnan Milnan agrees with Soloman. "Sounds good to me. I think that only 4 or 5 grogs need to stay at the camp, though, so however many are left (6?) can make up a final group. "Let's get it on..." **Briana/Arthur Briana and Arthur concur.
